Zubeida Khan was a witch and Slytherin student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She attended Hogwarts during the 1993-1994 school year.[3]
Etymology[]
Zubeida is an Arabic feminine name which means "soft-bodied" or something described as "prime" in terms of beauty or virtue. Khan is a surname and title of Central and Western Asian origin, primarily found in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, and other Central Asian and South Asian countries. It is also a common surname among the ethnic Pashtuns of South-Central Asia, and can be simply translated as "leader" in Pashto.
