—Description.[src]

These sets of woodcuts and engravings were made sometime between 993 and 1692, and showed Hogwarts students heading for Hogwarts Castle on the beginning of the school term, in a time before the inception of the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy in 1692.

They depicted students riding broomsticks across the country (which proved a difficult task when carrying trunks and pets), others commandeering enchanted carts and carriages, others attempting to Apparate, others riding a large variety of magical creatures.[1]
