Wood Nymphs are small and beautiful, but able to speak and to sing, and they are apparently happy to interact with wizards and indeed do as they are told. According to Fleur Delacour, they are used amongst the Christmas decorations at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, where they sing to the students.[1]
