The Wolf Moon was the full moon occurring at a time of the year corresponding to January in the lunar calendar system employed by the Algonquian peoples of Great Lakes and New England regions.[1]

Ebbingdales Wonders for Wizards, a wizarding department store in New York, advertised that it had extended hours on the day of the Wolf Moon (as well as the Hunter's Moon and Beaver Moon).[2]
