- "By your age, he could turn a whistle into a watch and have it sing you the time."
- — Bartemius Crouch Junior, disguised as Alastor Moody, to Harry Potter[src]
This spell (incantation unknown) could be used to transform a whistle into a watch.[1]
Cedric Diggory was capable of performing this spell by the 1994–1995 school year, according to Bartemius Crouch Junior, who was disguised as Alastor Moody at the time.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- Given that Crouch Junior had only met Diggory that year, and he knew nothing of Diggory's talents prior, and that he may have merely been exaggerating to be facetious, it is possible this is a hypothetical spell that does not truly exist. However, it is possible that this spell did indeed exist, as Crouch may have had prior knowledge of it.
