Werewolf Support Services was a part of the Being Division of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. Despite werewolves being classed as Beasts, they are acknowledged to be Beings during their untransformed state, and the Werewolf Support Services offered aid to those afflicted with the condition.
However, due to the stigma werewolves have in wizarding society, no werewolf ever used the service, and Werewolf Support Services was eventually closed down.[1]
