Wendy Slinkhard was a witch who wrote at least one book. While at Hogwarts, she studied under Horace Slughorn, and was selected to join the Slug Club. Later in her life, she was so grateful to Slughorn that she included a picture of them together in her book, and dedicated it to him.[1][2]
Wendy may be related to Wilbert Slinkhard, the author of his own book, Defensive Magical Theory.
Behind the scenes
- Wendy appears only in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and is portrayed by Nina Voelker.
