Wembley Stadium, also known simply as Wembley, is a football stadium located in London, England. The England national football team played a match against Estonia here in July of 1996, securing a win. England's Sol Campbell secured his seventieth cap with the team at this match.[1]
Behind the scenes
- The Wembley Stadium being referred to in the film prop is most certainly the modern Wembley Stadium, which officially opened 19 May, 2007. The original Wembley Stadium, which was in use from 1923 to 2000, would have been the one in use at the time of the Harry Potter series.
