The Welsh National Quidditch team is the national Quidditch team of Wales.

History

1994 Quidditch World Cup

The Welsh team competed in the 1994 Quidditch World Cup, and lost their match against Uganda.

2014 Quidditch World Cup

Wales qualified for the 2014 Quidditch World Cup. Before the opening games Brazilian manager José Barboza insulted the Welsh Chasers by calling them "talentless hags" — Welsh manager Gwenog Jones promptly threatened to "curse the face off" him, and Barboza issued a statement insisting that his original remark had been taken out of context.[1]
