Weedosoros is a poison. In 1991, Severus Snape included one bottle of this poison in his Potion Riddle, one of the Obstacles to get to the Philosopher's Stone. [1]
Etymology
The name may be derived from the phrase "weed of sorrows", which may be the name of the main ingredient of this potion.
Behind the scenes
- Given the possible etymology for this potion, it may be that on consumption this drink induces similar effects to the Drink of Despair.
