This cornfield was located at Ottery St. Catchpole very close to the Burrow. People began to grow it after the summer of 1994 after the forest was cut down.
In the Christmas holiday of 1996 Harry Potter ran after Bellatrix Lestrange after she teased him for killing Sirius Black. Ginny Weasley, ran after him to help him. It all ended with Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks and Arthur Weasley running after them preparing to fight against Bellatrix and Fenrir Greyback. Luckily for them the two Death Eaters disapparated.
