Wayne Hopkins was a Half-blood student who began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1991, the same year as Harry Potter. He was sorted into the Hufflepuff house.
Etymology
The name "Wayne" is from an occupational surname meaning "wagon maker", derived from Old English wægn "wagon".
