"Is this all real? Or has this been happening inside my head?"
The topic of this article is of a real-life subject that has been mentioned "in-universe" in a canon source. The Harry Potter Wiki is written from the perspective that all information presented in canon is true (e.g., Hogwarts really existed), and, as such, details contained in this article may differ from real world facts. |
Wales is a country located on the island of Great Britain, which is bordered by England. Wales has its own National Quidditch team, which in 1994 lost to Uganda during the 422nd Quidditch World Cup. Other Welsh Quidditch teams include the Caerphilly Catapults and the Holyhead Harpies. The Common Welsh Green is a Dragon breed native to Wales.
"Dangerous" Dai Llewellyn was a famous Welsh wizard who played for the Caerphilly Catapults. His untimely demise by being eaten by a Chimaera while vacationing in Greece prompted a national day of mourning among witches and wizards in Wales.[1]
Helga Hufflepuff, one of the four founders of Hogwarts, possibly came from Wales.
In 1993, the Knight Bus picked up Madam Marsh from Abergavenny in Wales. During the same journey, the Knight Bus passed through Anglesey which is also in Wales.
Sometime in or prior to 1994, a mystery regarding the Dark Arts took place in Wales.
