Vol-au-vents are small, light appetizers. Vol-au-vents can be stuffed with various fillings, such as mushrooms, prawns, fruit, or cheese.[1]
In 1997, after Ginny Weasley remarked on her mother's over-protectioness over Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger, Harry let out that it was unlikely someone else killed Voldemort while they were at The Burrow making vol-au-vents for Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour's wedding.[2]
