Violetta Black (née Bulstrode) was a pure-blood witch who married Cygnus Black II, and the couple had four children: Pollux, Cassiopeia, Marius, and Dorea Black[2]. She may be related to Millicent Bulstrode.
Behind the scenes
Violetta is a version of the name Violet, derived from the flower. It was the stage name of a German-born circus performer born without legs or arms who was well-known during the 1920s. The name Violetta could also be meant to mean violent or violence.
If James Potter I was Violetta's grandson, then Violetta would be the grandmother-in-law of Lily Evans, and the great-grandmother of Harry Potter. She would also be the great-grandmother-in-law of Ginny Weasley and the great-great-grandmother of James Potter II Albus Potter, and Lily Potter II.
