This bedroom was located on the second floor of 4 Privet Drive. It was the largest bedroom in the house, and was where Vernon and Petunia slept.[1]
History
They were awoken from their sleep in the summer of 1992 by Hedwig, as Harry was escaping the house with the help of Fred, George and Ron in their Flying Ford Anglia.[2]
In 1997, Vernon and Petunia stopped sleeping here, as they were forced to leave their home along with their son Dudley, because it was not safe for them to be there, due to the potential risks of Death Eaters invading and torturing them for information about Harry Potter.[3] It is unknown if the Dursley family ever returned to their home once the Second Wizarding War had ended in 1998.
