Vermiculus is a transforming spell used to transfigure things into worms.

Vampyr Mosps are especially susceptible to this spell, and any spell cast on them whilst they are in their transformed state will cause them to explode and produce certain candies.

Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley were all able to cast this spell, as proven when they used it against the vampyr mosps in the Herbology greenhouses.

Etymology

From Latin vermiculus meaning little worm.
