Ventus is a Knockback Jinx, the jinx creates a gust of wind that can be used to blast creatures and objects. Other forms of this spell are Flipendo and Depulso. Flipendo is learned in first year Defence Against the Dark Arts class, Third- and fourth-year students learn Depulso, and Fourth year students learn Ventus.
