Vault 3 was a Vault in Gringotts Wizarding Bank which contained a lot of Galleons and was a hard to difficult Vault to get through. It also contained some Rubies, Emeralds, Sapphires, yellow gems and Diamonds. Inside the Vault a Goblin stood explaining to people how to use the Mine Cart.

Harry Potter rode the Mine Cart in this Vault to collect Galleons in the 1991–1992 school year.
