I love harry potter!!!!!
First off, when leaving a message on any talk page, sign your message by pressing the "signature" button or writing four tildes (~). Your signature will look somewhat like this, NimH 18:32, August 19, 2010 (UTC) , but with your own username.
Second, please explain where you're posting a picture. I would like to know whether it will be on your user page or on the article. Once you tell me this, I'll tell you how.

First, the picture must be uploaded onto the Wiki. To start click "edit" on the article you want to add an image to. Then click on the image upload button on the editor toolbar. It looks like a single picture frame with a small gold plaque at the bottom, and is located under the word "insert". A pop up will appear, which will allow you to "Upload" an image from your computer OR "Find" an image already added to the wiki by others, or on Flickr. On the next screen, you can add details about the image, including a more easily read name and the license. You can then customize the size of the image, choose a layout, and provide a caption. To the right is how it would look.
I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me or an administrator on this wiki.
Lastly, make sure to use four tildes (which are these: ~) in a row to write your signature after writing on a talk page. Your signature will consist of the time, date, and a link to your user page.
Here's my signature: NimH 19:59, August 21, 2010 (UTC)
You got it! And it won't appear while you're editing, but once you save the page you'll be able to see it.

Thank you for contributing image uploads to the Harry Potter Wiki. However, your recent upload was in breach of our image policy, and has since been corrected. In future, please be sure to fill out the information template that is provided on the upload page, in particular citing the source from which the image comes from, and adding categories. This is to help keep images organised and catalogued, and to provide clear sourcing for all uploads. Please be aware that images missing this information may be subject to deletion, and, in certain cases, uploading images after being asked to provide the correct information may lead to a block for the uploader. If you have any doubts or questions regarding this, please contact one of the administrators. Thank you for your cooperation.--Cavalier One(Wizarding Wireless Network) 08:11, August 23, 2010 (UTC)
