[edit] Adding images to pages
I see that you uploaded a picture and tried to add it to an article. I took care of that for ya, but for future reference, here's how ya do it. You type this in [[File:Karkaroff's Aide.jpg|thumb (if you want it to be a thumbnail, otherwise don't add this)|250px (you can always make the images bigger or smaller)|left (or wherever you want the image)|The caption that you want]] Hope that helps! -- Freakatone Talk 11:34, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Devil's Snare
Seems fine to me. -- DarkJedi613 (Talk) 19:36, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Copyrighted images
Please do not upload copyrighted images, such as the ones of Sean Biggerstaff, to the Wiki. Images with a visible copyright or watermark are not allowed due to copyright issues with the owners of the image. - Cavalier One(Wizarding Wireless Network) 08:18, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
[edit] House Points Game, 2nd term
Hello! Just to let you know, we're starting a new round of the Harry Potter Wiki House Points Game on September 15th, and we need some new members! By helping to improve the Wiki, you can earn points toward winning the House Cup. Just add your name under your favorite House on this page to join. We hope to see you soon! - Nick O'Demus 10:16, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Moving user pages
I'm not entirely sure, but I believe that it simply creates a redirect from the previous user page to a new one. However, you would still be logged in under your original user name. To start editting as the new user, you would have to create a new login. Also, while the user page and talk page can be redirected and merged, to the best of my knowledge, the contributions list cannot. It would however be possible to create links on the new user page to both the old and new user contributions, as well as edit count userboxes for both versions.
You might want to ask one of the admins, like Seth Cooper or Cavalier One, to be certain. They've been doing this a lot longer than I have.
