Spell Categories Edit

Hey, just a word about categories. If an article is in a category (say "Charms" for instance), it does not also need to be in the "Spells" category (since the "Charms" category is in the "Spells" category...its implied). Hey I was looking at your sandbox and I saw the new templates. Now I know or at least think that you will make them into real templates but I was just going to remind you to replace the part of your thing were you put ~~~ with {{{1}}} and replace the part were you put the personal message with {{{2}}}

Our Hogwarts Edit

I have no idea. I don't think that it is relevant. If I had known how to nominate for deletion I would have done it before you. I added the deletion back after the person erased it, but they erased it again which is against the policy so I'm not sure what to do about it. They have created another called Scott Lawlor and it is the same thing "It will be here in a second."

I made these simply for the community to make there own harry potter characters and be creative with the storyline and get ideas going if they had been there at the time. I simply got the idea from halopedia how they have a halopedians section for the people this here is all facts and nothing to really be creative and expressive about your own story that was created through the inspiration of J.K Rowling.

{{DEFAULTSORT}} and category listing Edit

Hey, one of your recent edits to Newton Scamander was to removed the DEFAULTSORT template and add Scamander, Newton to all of the categories. The DEFAULTSORT template, when filled with correct information such as {{DEFAULTSORT:Scamander, Newton}} means that the qualifiers for each category listing aren't needed. - Cavalier One^{(Wizarding Wireless Network)} 07:13, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

All you have to do in that case is qualify the Scamander family category listing as "Scamander family|Newton" which overrides the DEFAULTSORT listing. What a Super Wiki This Is! Edit

Dear Seth,

Thanks for the warm welcome. I found this HP wiki by accident while I was looking for something else. I just have to say I think it's absolutely great how much information there is! I've been looking things up since I found the page.

I doubt I'll be doing any editing of pages as that's not really my thing. But I'm sure that when I'm trying to remember something about the HP universe, I'll come back here again and again to find it. With over 4000 pages enclosed in seven volumes, it's hard to remember everything! Also, JK Rowling included some seemingly innocent details that were very important later. It's fun to go back and connect the dots from those seeminly innocent clues to their conclusions and this site makes it easy to do that. So I made sure I bookmarked the page the first time I came across it.

Thanks for all your hard work in adding and editing the information. I'm not too adept at doing stuff like this, but if there's a way to post these comments so that all the contributors can see them, I ask that you do that for me. I think all of the contributors have done a fabulous job and I thank them all!

Now all I have to do is keep busy until July when "The Half Blood Prince" movie comes out!
