I don't think you needed to worry about the edit you did to Harry Potter Wiki:Blocking policy (although probably all conscientious editors do so from time to time); using "i.e" (which as you pointed out means "that is to say") when "e.g." ("for example") is meant, is a common error in English usage, and you did well to correct it. It's a similar mistake to that of using "and" (all of these items) instead of "or" (any of these items). Keep up the good work! (And Merry Christmas, if you celebrate it — after all, one doesn't have to be Christian to celebrate Christmas.) — RobertATfm (talk) 11:35, December 25, 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks! I didn't doubt that it was an error; I have just come across wikis that are not fond of people messing with their policy pages, so I wanted to make it clear I would understand if someone undid my edit. I am a Christian and do celebrate Christmas; Merry Christmas to you too! Lasaraleen Tarkheena (talk) 21:11, December 25, 2012 (UTC)
