Nicollette Sheridan on "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"
Edit
Unfortunately, the report on Nicollette Sheridan playing the role of Sybill Trelawney in the upcoming two-part feature Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows turned out to be nothing more than just a rumor. That's all it is...just a rumor. Here's the following link: http://nicollette-sheridan.net/news/rumor-control-nicollette-not-to-be-on-harry-potter AdamDeanHall 16:54, December 22, 2009 (UTC)
Towers
Edit
We've many towers:
- The one with four little towers in the corners in the first two films, and big bell towers -> RAVENCLAW TOWER
- The two near the Hogwarts greenhouses, which change also in HP3 -> BELL TOWERS
- The one which has got many towers in the fist films and in HP6 becames a single tower -> LIBRARY TOWER (or Charms Tower)
- The new tower in HP6 where Dumbledore dies-> ASTRONOMY TOWER
--El Profeta Vespertino 18:33, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
In OOTP and HBP videogames, the library and the Charms Classroom are both in the same corridor (as they are in the books). Please look at this map. POINT 17: http://www.hp-lexicon.org/atlas/hogwarts/atlas-h-movie_map.html I didn't write the article about the Ravenclaw Tower, but I think they put it because it is one of the tallest towers. http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Ravenclaw_Tower
Too many towers...
Edit
I think we should rename the towers pages: the actual names are conjecture. We don't know in which tower is the library, or the Charms Classroom...
In HBP we can see the content of one of the two BELL TOWERS. I think this name is OK, as well as CLOCK TOWER, ASTRONOMY TOWER, DADA TOWER, HEADMASTER's TOWER, DARK TOWER, and GRYFFINDOR TOWER.
But, what is inside the building near the training grounds? We have no idea. We only know that McGonagall's office is located here (HP1). HPLexicon says that the Library is there, based on the "Restricted section" scene. I would call it LIBRARY TOWER OR MCGONAGALL'S TOWER.
What you call "Library Tower" may be the Ravenclaw Tower (one of the three tallest towers, the others being Gryffindor and Astronomy), but we are not sure. HPW says that it is the Ravenclaw Tower (you can see a picture of it in the article). I would call it RAVENCLAW TOWER or include it in the BELL TOWERS article.
Please, answer me soon. --El Profeta Vespertino 14:39, January 30, 2010 (UTC)
Towers
Edit
I have reorganised the towers:
- CENTRAL TOWER: "Library Tower" redirects here. Picture added.
- TRAINING GROUNDS TOWER: "Charms Tower" and "Charms Towers" redirect here.
I have also changed "Hogwarts Castle" page.
Thank you for your help. --El Profeta Vespertino 21:57, January 31, 2010 (UTC)
Pomfrey
Edit
I get the difference with the other healers, but since "Unidentified Healer 4" is dressed like Pomfrey, isn't their a chance it is actually supposted to be Pomfrey? Just a thought.

North Tower and Training Grounds Tower
Edit
I was just thinking that these towers are the same. The North Tower appears in the books and is where the Divination classroom is located. The Training Grounds Tower overlooks the Training Grounds and is in the north of the castle (actually you suggested calling it the Northern Tower). I would be pleased if you told me your opinion about this, as you are the 'tower expert'. Thanks, El Profeta Vespertino 23:29, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
I have just left a message in their Talk Pages:

Fat Lady in Goblet of Fire?
Edit

Added by El Profeta VespertinoI'm sorry I had not read the Fat Lady article. I understand your theory and it really makes sense, as the common room remains the same. However, I wish they had not made so many changes in the locations of the castle! By the way, I added the polyjuiced actors in the H. P. Cast Members article. Thank you for your interest, --El Profeta Vespertino 12:35, June 19, 2010 (UTC)
RE: My boggart
Edit
Oh, thank you so much!! I am glad someone sees my userpage... I've just read yours and I thought it was mine! I mean, I also love Hogwarts Castle (specially in the films), Hogwarts Towers, your List of Harry Potter cast members page, Prisoner of Azkaban film, Half-Blood Prince video game (where you they made a great efford connecting all the film locations), Warwick Davis, Filius Flitwick........... I also loved your page Hogwarts Castle throughout the film series (I wish they hadn't moved, even though I must admit it was OoU). I hope Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 gives us more clues about Hogwarts as it seems to be based on the PoA castle (it includes the EH Antechamber as well as the "new" Central and Bell Towers, which only happens in PoA). I wish they wouldn't change Hogwats for DH. Again, sorry for my English. Thanks, El Profeta Vespertino 18:30, June 23, 2010 (UTC)
RE:Divination Staircase
Edit
Actually, the staircase isn't on the Grand Staircase in the game. The seventh-floor corridor leads off the Grand Staircase towards the Divination Staircase which comprises the North Tower. Even if that wasn't the case, books have canon priority so the article should read "North Tower" either way. -- Seth Cooper owl post! 17:25, July 8, 2010 (UTC)
Transfiguration classroom
Edit

--El Profeta Vespertino 16:49, July 10, 2010 (UTC)
P.S.: I was just writing down the Infirmary Tower article and trying to find an image when I suddenly found your article. I had been working in the article for half an hour and then I had to erase my Infirmary Tower article... I added the image I had prepared to Hospital Tower article.
Hospital Tower
Edit
Hi. Yes, the image is from Goblet of Fire, but I want to get one from inside the Quad, where you really can see the Tower shape. I wanted to take an screenshot from HBP video game (where you have the complete control of the camera), but it has been impossible for me. I added another image from here. Have you got any good image of the tower? Thanks, El Profeta Vespertino 22:13, July 11, 2010 (UTC)
Square Staircase
Edit
Hi, I saw your new page called Square Staircase and I noticed that you have located it in the Grand Staircase Tower. However, Jpkilleen has changed it to Gryffindor Tower, I don't know why. I personally believe that it is in the squared shape side between the Gryffindor Tower and the other tower around the Quad (overlooking the Suspension Bridge). I just wanted to know your opìnion. --El Profeta Vespertino 08:24, July 21, 2010 (UTC)

Added by El Profeta Vespertino- I don't know how to call the "buiding" itself. What about Suspension Bridge Hall (it is a staircase, isn't it?), Suspension Bridge Building (it doesn't sound well) or Suspension Bridge Towers (the building has towers)? The buiding I am referring to can be seen in the right corner of this image. Thanks, El Profeta Vespertino 10:24, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
- Done (See Suspension Bridge Entrance). Thank you for your help.

Question!
Edit
I notice a little cross (†) by some names in the infoboxes of some characters. Just looking at the names with this symbol, I know that these characters are dead. Is that what this symbol is used for? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by IHelpWhenICan (talk • contribs).
- Thank you! Forgot to sign. If this is the case, is there some sort of convention that prevents listing Bartemius Crouch Jr.'s name like this in articles? IHelpWhenICan 19:56, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
RE: Images
Edit
Hi. Your images seem to be taken with a camera, aren't they? I personally take them from Youtube videos: there are HD walkthroughs of OotP and HBP (I don't know how to record my PC games). I recommend you this and this. You can take great HD screenshots from them! Btw, I noticed your Sixth floor corridor page and it is accessible in HBP. Slughorn's office is there (you put it in the 7th floor). I have changed the article, I hope there's no problem ;).

North Tower
Edit
Hi. I just wanted to know how you know that the North Tower is the tower missing around the Quad (not the Grand Staircase Tower, Stone Bridge Tower nor the Gryffindor Tower) as you have added it to some articles. Thanks, El Profeta Vespertino 21:25, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
RE:Hogwarts Castle Map
Edit
Hi! Of course I remember you! Actually, I follow you on Twitter ;). I was really confused when you dissapeared by July-August last year. I've been very busy and I hardly ever edit the wiki. Your map fantastic! It describes the castle perfectly, and shows every corner of that charming place. By the way, have you seen the new Boathouse? It will be the death place for Severus Snape in DHP2. I am sorry you will have to change your map in the second part... I would like to know whether you will edit in the future or you are in "retirement". Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks, ![]()

Hi, as I had said before, I think your map is a really good summary of the Hogwarts we see in the film. Despite not including the Astronomy Tower, the map is very well done since latest films contradict the first ones and it is impossible to include all the details, so I think you have chosen the best alternative: the fifth movie Hogwarts. Regarding the North Tower, I remember we discussed that months ago: I located it in the Training Grounds Tower, but your reasoning is better. According to the fifth video game, the North Tower is located there. In my opinion, Dumbledore's Tomb should be located in the island opposite the Whomping Willow, and the lake is fine (according to the sixth video game). Your wiki looks nice, I also tried to create one about Hogwarts in the movies, but I have not had much time to write in it. ( http://es.hogwarts.wikia.com/ ). The problem for you to read is that it is in Spanish (although you can see some images), but I would be happy to collaborate if you do something like this in English. I hope you return soon to edit in the wiki. Thanks, ![]()
