It's no trouble, really. As I said on the other page, they're the most recent entries here. Let me know if you require more assistance. -- 1337star (Drop me a line!) 18:51, July 11, 2012 (UTC)
Cropping images
Edit
When before uploading images, you might want to consider cropping them with Paint (removing that blank space around them), so that they look better in articles. -- Seth Cooper owl post! 17:15, August 17, 2012 (UTC)
- First, you must align the picture with the upper-left corner of the Paint window (or, to put it in other way, the upper-left corner of the image is the same as the upper left corner of the window).
- While editing the image in Paint, you'll notice that there is a blue dot on the lower-right corner. Click that dot and then drag it so that it now coincides with the lower-right corner of the picture.
- That's how you crop a picture. If you still have questions, don't hesitate. -- Seth Cooper owl post! 17:24, August 17, 2012 (UTC)
A Page That Will be Deleted Should Look Nice?
Edit
That's a curious idea. Fanon pages are fanon pages and will be deleted on sight when spotted by an admin. Maybe I'm missing something, but fixing up a page that has a 100% chance of being deleted seems like a total waste of time and effort. ProfessorTofty (talk) 05:13, August 18, 2012 (UTC)
- Or to put it the way I've seen it on other boards "Ignore it and report it." Doing anything other than simply marking it as fanon / unnecessary content just draws unwanted attention to it. ProfessorTofty (talk) 05:16, August 18, 2012 (UTC)
Biography
Edit
Hello Hunnie Bunn I sort of have a question for you about how do you do that biography thing that you did on your page like with your wand, your boggart, your loyalty, all those items. Thank You for your time :) Julia6358922 (talk) 01:53, August 23, 2012 (UTC)Julia635
Hunnie Bunn, thank you for replying, and yes, I would like to make it, thank you. If you can, could please tell me on what place or website I must go to to make my biography. And as well telling me how to do the process, I would be real grateful. I also am having a hard time believing you are 12 years old for your establishment of spot on replies and vocabulary; even I dont have such a broad vocab as yours. Well thank you for your timeJulia6358922 (talk) 03:15, August 26, 2012 (UTC)Julia6358922
RE: Pottermore
Edit
Ah, I see. Thank you for the response. It was just something I was curious about, and I was wondering if perhaps some users had been given early access or something. Much appreciated. : ) Nick O'Demus 17:55, August 26, 2012 (UTC)
- P.S. - Let me know your Pottermore ID, and I'll add you as a Friend. Or, you can send a Friend request to me at NoxSky12599.
- P.P.S. - Regarding your userpage, yes, Hedwig is a "her".

Re: IPs
Edit
I'm sure the admin in question was being facetious about blocking the whole of Denmark, but even if they weren't, the point is indeed that they can tell that the IP is from Denmark. So unless the user actually did move to China, it wouldn't matter where he claimed he was from, because we all know already that he's from Denmark. And I don't think the first three numbers represent the country, no. ProfessorTofty (talk) 23:25, August 26, 2012 (UTC)
- Believe me, I know very well who you're talking about - even if was at all uncertain before (which I really wasn't) the mentions of Denmark and the apology on the talk page cemented it. ProfessorTofty (talk) 23:37, August 26, 2012 (UTC)

RE:Forum:Disable the Visual Editor?
Edit
I do not believe you were attempting to diminish Professor Tofty's topic; the fact is, even if unintentionally, you somewhat did. That's what the warning is about. Don't get me wrong, it's nothing personal, really, but I just had to stop the meaningless chatter. -- Seth Cooper owl post! 16:02, September 2, 2012 (UTC)
Re:Jelly Legs
Edit
Well, since you just put the template on today, I would wait and give time for those who may not actively check the talk pages to oppose the merge first. But, yeah, if it comes to that, a merge is pretty simple. Just make the article(s) you want to merge redirects to the remaining article (this is done by replacing the article's content with #REDIRECT and then an interwiki link to the article you want to redirect to, if you didn't know), and make sure you've added the relevant information to the remaining article. -- 1337star (Drop me a line!) 21:43, September 8, 2012 (UTC)
- Pip, pip, cheerio! It's a perfectly spiffing day! (Seriously, I'm sure your British is fine enough, I think most of us who edit here that live in the U.S. have made mistakes with it before. Anyway, I'm fine with the merge, seems to me they are the same. ProfessorTofty (talk) 18:59, September 9, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Everything
Edit
Yes, the list of fan websites is definitely a headache. I was thinking of first organizing each section by those sites which are still active in alphabetical order, then those that haven't been updated in at least six months in alphabetical order, and finally those that are no longer available but which can be viewed via Web Archive (yes, in alphabetical order.) I also think there's still merit in splitting the page, but more needs to be said on the talk page for it first; perhaps you could weigh in on that. I'm not sure about doing an entire page with all of the content from Pottermore, that seems like it would be a lengthy page. If you mean what I think you mean, though, transcribing the information for references, it might be possible to put each on separate pages, which would go somewhere other than the Main namespace or perhaps as a "/" attached the respective articles. For example Peeves/Pottermore transcription. ProfessorTofty (talk) 00:06, September 16, 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, it would be just like in the link I specified above and when you create the page, it would have a link at the top of the page back to Peeves automatically. I don't know offhand of anywhere that you can see that on here, so try this here if you'd like to see an example. ProfessorTofty (talk) 00:26, September 16, 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, and I've been meaning to mention this for a while now, but please place a colon in front of your message each time you leave a new message beyond the first one in the section. Or add a colon if there's already multiple messages, i.e. if the message above the one you're adding already has one, then add another. ProfessorTofty (talk) 00:27, September 16, 2012 (UTC)
Hi.
Thank you for visiting my newly created page about the regulators of the floo network. I was struggling to sort out the information box so I thank you for helping with that. I hope you don't mind if I take inspiration from your profile, it's very eye-catching and I would love to recreate some of the images and blocks in it.
Again, thank you. :)
ZRSFizzyBongs (talk) 19:44, September 16, 2012 (UTC)ZRSFizzyBongs
Hi. Thanks for the help! I plan to re-do my old account at some point. I used fanfiction quite a lot at one point, but because I posted my work from one website to another, it was counted as someone elses, even if I thouroughly prooved it was mine, so I had to keep re-creating my account after it's closure, and even then I still had to delete my more popular stories. I updated my info on fanfiction and copied that onto my first account on here, knowing full well that I would most likely end up having to make a new one anyway. So yeah, that's why it's confusing.
Anyway. I'm a little bored, so ... tell me what subjects do you enjoy in school?
ZRSFizzyBongs (talk) 20:10, September 16, 2012 (UTC)ZRSFizzyBongs
I guess my fave subjects at school are maths, science, english, latin, russian, french and anceient greek. thanks about the tip. But russian and french i do more outsside of school and anceient greek i just do for fun. i know my life is sad ... :( lol
ZRSFizzyBongs (talk) 20:27, September 16, 2012 (UTC)
No, that you have misunderstood. I mean that this user is identical with this user, difference only one letter (y)! Harry granger Talk contribs 20:38, September 16, 2012 (UTC)
- That's the only point where I am not sure. But is it o. k. to make a new account when your old got warnings which you have deleted what's definitely not allowed? I am not sure. So I think that's the decision of special users. Harry granger Talk contribs 21:08, September 16, 2012 (UTC)
lol. my school is pretty good but it's too much damn work! :( I get 6 flipping hours every night and 10 for the weekend! :) anyway. i think the best way to tell which student are good in my school are to see who can still be the best even when doing their homework on the morning bus without coffee.

RE:Hair Colours
Edit
If something like that were to be created, it would be something among the lines of this article. However, I find that, in lieu of creating such an article, it would be more useful/more practical to simply create new categories (i.e. "Ginger individuals"). -- Seth Cooper owl post! 21:12, September 17, 2012 (UTC)
Candidates for deletion
Edit
Say, if you have a moment, I was wondering if you would consider adding your opinion on some of the subjects on Category talk:Candidates for deletion. There's some items that have been sitting around on there without any action for want of more people weighing in. Pretty much everything from The Frantic Fluffy Chase on still needs more input. ProfessorTofty (talk) 10:19, September 18, 2012 (UTC)
Re:Template Things
Edit
I went ahead and changed it. Thanks for pointing it out. But, yeah, for the future, a template can be edited like any other page. They're located at Template:whateverthetemplateisnamed (Template:Charms, in this case). You might have to switch to "source" mode to edit it, though, assuming you normally use "visual" mode. I have "visual" mode disabled, so I'm not sure.
As for the sweets, they're apparently located on the moment with the writing on the wall (Enemies of the Heir Beware yada yada), but I personally haven't found them yet either so I can't tell you exactly where to look. It looks like User:Starstuff uploaded the images, maybe you can ask him if you need more help finding them. -- 1337star (Drop me a line!) 22:29, September 19, 2012 (UTC)
Re: Vandal
Edit
Just go into the page history, click for the most recent version that was still good and ask to edit it. Tell it to save the changes and you should be back to what it was before they vandalised it. ProfessorTofty (talk) 16:31, September 22, 2012 (UTC)
- NB - The problem has already been taken care of. ProfessorTofty (talk) 16:32, September 22, 2012 (UTC)
RE:Sir Nick
Edit
You did not do anything at all; it's just that we prefer pictures from the films as main pictures of article because they're overall more realistic and because the characters' faces are better shown (pretty much why we use a picture of Harry, Ron, Hermione, Mr Weasley, Lucius Malfoy, Lockhart, Dumbledore, Mr Dursley, McGonagall, Myrtle, Dobby, etc., from the films even though they all make appearances in Pottermore -- Pottermore makes a point of obscuring characters' faces not to detract from the readers' immagination). -- Seth Cooper owl post! 00:32, September 23, 2012 (UTC)
- I'd be fine -- it's canon, nonetheless. -- Seth Cooper owl post! 00:43, September 23, 2012 (UTC)
Re: Wiki with Stuff Only About the Books
Edit
There's one that I know of, but last I checked, it's so sparsely edited that it's barely worth speaking of unless you would be serious about the idea of basically taking it over and whipping it into shape. ProfessorTofty (talk) 20:54, September 23, 2012 (UTC)
- In that case, try Potterpedia. That was the wiki some guy started sometime last year when he decided he wanted a wiki that only had stuff from the books; it never went anywhere. ProfessorTofty (talk)
- I think it'd probably be okay, but I don't see any great hope as far as it having much effect. I think the guy who started that wiki did the same thing when it was first created and didn't get any bites. The problem is this wiki already covers stuff about the books, most people don't really see any point in splitting their efforts on some offshoot wiki, especially unless it really has somebody dedicated managing it. If you're committed to it, try spending some time on improving it first, see if you can get whoever started it to grant you admin rights and see where you can go from there. ProfessorTofty (talk) 23:25, September 23, 2012 (UTC)
Re: Infobox Names
Edit
But my comment wasn't addressed at you; it was addressed at the guy who kept removing the names from the infoboxes. ProfessorTofty (talk) 02:08, September 29, 2012 (UTC)
RE:
Edit
The link in the Arabella Figg article's been fixed. As for the templates issue, I highly recommend that you read this page: Wikipedia Help: Template. While it may not answer all the questions you may have, it is a overview of the basics of template markup. If you need anything more specific (i.e. infoboxes, and such), I'd advise you to go and see the codes we use for our infoboxes -- you can use them as base and adapt them to what you need/like/feel is more suitable. I wish you the best for Potterpedia! -- Seth Cooper owl post! 22:13, September 29, 2012 (UTC)
- Honestly, I'm at a loss. I've tried fidgeting with the codes, but it either frustratingly stays exactly the same or it morphs into something much worse. I'd advise you to ask someone else (I think you should try another admin, or one of the bureaucrats). -- Seth Cooper owl post! 23:19, October 2, 2012 (UTC)
Re: Knowing it was Danniesen

Thanks a lot for the link. ive been trying to create and work with pages but it's been difficult because i haven't known the precise guidelines of work. thank you very much :) ZRSFizzyBongs (talk) 16:52, October 6, 2012 (UTC)
Again, thank you. :) The page helps a lot. I'm look for the image right now but im not sure how long it'll take me. We've been having powercuts here so im surrently in an internet cafe trying to sort the page out. I should find some more information about the wand before the 7 days are up. I may even turn out that it's another zabini, another type of wand like rosewood or something like that. Anyway. I'ved got to go offline soon but i hope to chat soon when i've found the source, a true description or even if it's someone else's wand. :) ZRSFizzyBongs (talk) 17:05, October 6, 2012 (UTC)

I am not planning on buying it (mostly because, well, I don't own a PlayStation3 to begin with) although it seems rather fun (and, even if it was as dull as paint, it would still have canonical information, which is always great). Anyway, someone's bound to upload gameplay videos on YouTube after the game is released, so that's that. Are you planning on getting it? -- Seth Cooper owl post! 00:42, October 14, 2012 (UTC)

Wikia features
Edit
Say, Hunnie Bunn, if you have a moment, could you take a look at this here? I've started a thread regarding the idea of enabling additional features here, and I'd like to get opinions. ProfessorTofty (talk) 15:34, October 20, 2012 (UTC)
Hello. The problem with the articles I put up for deletion articles is that there are 10 different pages for, essentially, the same thing. In my opinion, these articles would be best replaced by one main article titled something like "All Leaky House Soup Varieties."
LimeyRose (talk) 23:57, October 26, 2012 (UTC)
Yah, sorry abut the formatting, aka, posting each and every page with the tag instead of what you suggested. Im really new to Wikia and not really used to the formatting. Thanks for the tips.
LimeyRose (talk) 00:06, October 27, 2012 (UTC)
So then, whats going to happen with those Leaky Soup House pages?

RE:PotterPedia et Transfiguration
Edit
You don't bother me at all (I didn't respond right away because there wasn't a link to your talk page on your signature, and I guess I was a little bit lazy ;P). The formula comes from one of the blackboards in the Transfiguration classroom in the Philosopher's Stone film.
As for PotterPedia, I'm afraid I won't be editing there much. It's nothing personal, it's just that I've got little spare time these days, and I think I must concentrate preferentially on this wiki (of which, of course, I am admin). -- Seth Cooper owl post! 22:12, October 27, 2012 (UTC)
- There's no harm in asking. If I find the time, I'll have a look around and make some edits! -- Seth Cooper owl post! 22:22, October 27, 2012 (UTC)
Rollback
Edit
Apparently only a bureaucrat can grant you rollback. If you still want it, I recommend leaving a message for Grunny directly - I expect that it'll likely be approved, since there was no objection and you're a good contributor. ProfessorTofty (talk) 23:39, October 27, 2012 (UTC)
- Well, if you like. It's worth noting though that Rollback is simply an additional power - it allows you to revert vandalism quickly. There's no obligation to use it. ProfessorTofty (talk) 00:03, October 28, 2012 (UTC)
- I hadn't seen that post on Mugglenet, no. But, thanks. I'll do a read-over when I have a moment. ProfessorTofty (talk) 00:10, October 28, 2012 (UTC)

Thank you again for sending the Mugglenet post. It was interesting, though I would tend to agree with the posters there that A.) Re: Image
Edit
I'm afraid I have no idea what it says on that image. My knowledge of languages is limited to English, four years of rusty high-school Spanish, bits of French and Japanese I've picked up from pop-culture and a small smattering of German I can recall because my father came from Germany (though I was never formally taught the language and it was rarely spoken at home.) Oh, and I suppose a few token Mandarin Chinese words and phrases also. ProfessorTofty (talk) 01:29, October 29, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Pottermore Tag
Edit
I think I will do what I've been talking about for a while now - the Pottermore tag will be removed from any article except that which contains information from tomorrow's update and replaced with one that does nothing more than sort the article into the hidden category of articles that have information from Pottermore. - I went ahead and created the Pottermoreold tag. If you'd like to help, just change the "Pottermore" to "Pottermoreold" on any page that needs the change. I'm currently finished through articles starting with "A" and will be starting on "B" soon, so keep an eye on which articles have already been done and if you like, you can pick up from there. Re: Finite Incantatem Merge
Edit
Okay, but that's not how you accomplish a merge. You just got rid of Finite Incantatem and made it a redirect to General Counter-spell. That doesn't merge the page, because the General Counter-Spell page still says stuff like "this spell may be Finite or Finite Incantatem" and doesn't contain any of the useful information that was once included at the Finite Incantatem page, or any of the appearances. Given this, I am undoing your edit. Furthermore, I think this is too major a change to simply try to merge without any discussion - if you want to make the change, we need to have a proper discussion. I will weigh in with my thoughts on the matter shortly. ProfessorTofty (talk) 01:06, November 1, 2012 (UTC)
Right, you
Edit
- Yeah, but you did so after I had sent you the message. Let's just wait until the discussion is done. If nobody objects within the next couple days or so, then we'll merge the articles. ProfessorTofty (talk) 01:11, November 1, 2012 (UTC)
Firstly, it says on your user page that you're 12. You have to be thirteen or over to have a username on Wikia. Secondly, stop reverting my move from Periculum to Red Sparks, they are the same spell. Now, if you were not an incompetent fool, you would revert all, if not most, of your recent edits and delete your account until you are, what was the phrase, of age. Of course, if you want to be a stupid idiot, that's fine. Yours sincerely, MrSiriusBlack (talk) 21:45, November 8, 2012 (UTC)
- For future reference, with any future merge - copy over everything that needs to be moved to the merged to article over to it first and make any other necessary changes and then make the old article into a redirect. ProfessorTofty (talk) 01:23, November 1, 2012 (UTC)
- I wasn't trying to merge anythingm, Tofty, you fool, I was simply regenerating Red Sparks into a Redirection page for Periculum. MrSiriusBlack (talk) 21:51, November 8, 2012 (UTC)
- Wait a minute - TOFTY, YOU IDIOT, IF YOU'RE JUST GONNA POST TO HUNNIE BUNN IN THE MIDDLE OF MY MESSAGE TO HIM, YOU CAN CLEAR OFF! MrSiriusBlack (talk) 21:55, November 8, 2012 (UTC)
- Simple mistake with the age thing, but I did not 'personally attack' anyone, I am certainly not insulting anyone, so please refrain from accussing me of rubbish. MrSiriusBlack (talk) 22:25, November 8, 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, and I never said ANYTHING about you not deserving an account. I apologize for calling you incompetent. MrSiriusBlack (talk) 22:26, November 8, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Remembrance Day Video
Edit
Thank you, and I actually just found out earlier today that it is on the same day as the U.S. Veteran's Day, which is the same basic concept. ProfessorTofty (talk) 22:29, November 9, 2012 (UTC)
- Watched the video - good tune, though that isn't usually my kind of song. Is that bagpipes? Like the use of those. Or maybe what I think is the sound of bagpipes is the accordion?
- On a side-note, I'm a big fan of Canadian entertainment, particularly much of the animation coming out of Canada. Also, have you ever seen the Red Green Show? ProfessorTofty (talk) 23:26, November 9, 2012 (UTC)
RE:Remembrance/Veterans Day
Edit
I quite agree, it's beautifully sung.
I live in Portugal, and around here Remembrance/Veterans Day is invariably overshadowed by the traditional celebrations of St. Martin's Day (which takes place the same day, 11 November). As such, Veterans Day (or Dia dos Combatentes, as it is called) is usually observed in early April instead, in remembrance of the 1918 Battle of the Lys, one of the greatest defeats ever suffered by Portuguese forces -- 300 officers were lost and 7,000 men killed. Despite the severe circumstances, there was a soldier, Aníbal Milhais, (who went on to be known to history as Soldado Milhões, or "Soldier [who's worth] Millions") who showed great bravery when he, armed only with a machine gun, single-handedly defeated two German assaults by laying down intense fire, covering the retreat of Portuguese and Scots alike, despite coming under heavy attack himself (effectively, he was so fierce that the Germans were convinced that they were up against an entire fortified unit rather than just a single soldier with a machine gun).
Either way, regardless of April or November, the point stands: that those who face the horrors of war to defend their peers and their country should be remembered, honoured and respected. -- Seth Cooper owl post! 23:41, November 9, 2012 (UTC)

To make a forum, you go to any main forum listing and look for the button that says Add new topic. Sorry, I don't have an opinion on this. ProfessorTofty (talk) 20:58, November 16, 2012 (UTC)
- I'm with Tofty here for the time being. As I haven't personally seen what Book of Spells says on the subject, I think it would be unfair for me to make an opinion on it at this point in time. -- 1337star (Drop me a line!) 21:08, November 16, 2012 (UTC)
- I will say, though, that in my head canon they are two spells: the Doubling Charm (Geminio), and a stronger variation of it called the Gemino curse. Like I said, I have no idea if the text in Book of Spells supports this sort of interpretation, so that's just complete, unfounded speculation on my part. -- 1337star (Drop me a line!) 21:18, November 16, 2012 (UTC)

Transfiguration blackboard
Edit
Remember that weird alphabet and words that no one could figure out, that were on the Transfiguration blackboard from the first film? I've come across something that seems to be the direct inspiration behind it:
Sir Thomas More published his book Utopia in 1516, about a fictional and almost perfect society living on the island of Utopia. The book contained an addendum with a map of Utopia and with a brief sample of "Utopian language" (which was, apparently, created by More and his friend Peter Giles). I think you already know what to expect when you look at it: VTOPENSIVM ALPHABETVM.
Note that:
- The letters of the Utopian are almost the same as the ones in the Transfiguration blackboard with a few minor differences:
- The Utopian alphabet does not contain the letters "j" ("i" took its place in the early 16th century), "u" ("v" took its place) and "z" (Early English used "s" alone for both the unvoiced and the voiced sibilant). They are, however, in the Transfiguration alphabet.
- The "l" symbol of the Utopian alphabet does not appear in the Transfiguration alphabet.
- The letter "h" in the Utopian alphabet (the one that looks like a "c") is ommitted in the Transfiguration alphabet. This makes the Transfiguration alphabet be a letter off from its Utopian counterpart (the "Transfiguration"-"Utopian" correspondence goes: a-a, b-b, c-c, d-d, e-e, f-f, g-g, and then, h-l, i-k, j-m, k-n, l-o, m-p, n-q, o-r, p-s, q-t, r-v, s-x and t-y).
- The final five letters in the Transfiguration alphabet, u, v, x, u, z, seem to have been inspired in runic script, with no relation to the Utopian alphabet.
- Note also that the Utopian words "agrama", "bodamilomin" and the phrase "Vtopos ha Boccas" are also present elsewhere in the Transfiguration blackboard.
Interesting, huh? -- Seth Cooper owl post! 16:13, November 24, 2012 (UTC)
- I stumbled upon it, and I found it eerily familiar at once (pretty much how I stumbled across paintings that I realised were the same as George von Rheticus, Elizabeth Burke, Heliotrope Wilkins or Termeritus Shanks)... The number of times it has happened to me -- it's spooky, really! As if those centuries-old artworks are expecting me to find them!
- Anyway, the quatrain featured in Utopia is translated into Latin (the text at the bottom of the page). So, apparently, "agrama" is "city", "bodamilomin" is "for the mortals" and "Vtopos ha Boccas" is "The commander Utopus (mythical founder of Utopia) made me (Utopia)". -- Seth Cooper owl post! 16:34, November 24, 2012 (UTC)
Re: Fixed orphaned pages still on the list

Yeah, it's because the information that displays on that page is "cached" and only updates about once a day. So you sort of have to maintain your own counsel as to what has and hasn't been done already. ProfessorTofty (talk) 17:24, November 24, 2012 (UTC)
RE:Christmas
Edit
It's never too early to discuss possibilities -- the trouble is when we discuss them late! I personally haven't heard about anything in particular. I see it's your first Christmas around here; we usually just go from talk page to talk page and leave each other Christmas greetings and cheerful messages. If you think of something, creating a forum and letting the community weigh in on the subject is the way to go, I think. -- Seth Cooper owl post! 00:57, November 25, 2012 (UTC)
- I'll see if I come up with any ideas: there's no harm in a Christmassy spell... -- Seth Cooper owl post! 01:24, November 25, 2012 (UTC)
- I was thinking about perhaps creating a new Christmas card (there's nothing wrong with the old one, but I remember having used it for at least the past three Christmasses), or having a Christmas-related quotes for the "Quote of the Week" during December. I also believe there's a Christmas version of the "Harry Potter Wiki" logo (the one that appears on the upper-left corner of our pages) in which the letter "P" is topped by a Father Christmas hat.
- We could also add Christmas greetings to the Main Page slider (the slider needs updating anyways). -- Seth Cooper owl post! 01:46, November 25, 2012 (UTC)
HELLO, LADY
Edit
Stop me on the corner
I swear you hit me like a vision
I, I, I wasn't expecting
But who am I to tell fate where it's supposed to go with it
Don't you blink you might miss it
See we got a right to just love it or leave it
You find it and keep it
Cause it ain't every day you get the chance to say
Oh, this is how it starts, lightning strikes the heart
It goes off like a gun, brighter than the sun
Oh, we could be the stars, falling from the sky
Shining how we want, brighter than the sun
I've never seen it, I found this love, I'm gonna feed it
You better believe, I'm gonna treat it better than anything I've ever had
Cause you're so damn beautiful
Read it, it's signed and delivered let's seal it
Boy we go together like peanuts and paydays and Marley and reggae
And everybody needs to get a chance to say
Oh, this is how it starts, lightning strikes the heart
It goes off like a gun, brighter than the sun
Oh, we could be the stars, falling from the sky
Shining how we want, brighter than the sun
Everything is like a white out, cause we shika-shika a shine down
Even when the, when the light's out but I can see you glow
Got my head up in the rafters, got me happy ever after
Never felt this way before, ain't felt this way before
I swear you hit me like a vision
I, I, I wasn't expecting
But who am I to tell fate where it's supposed to go?
Oh, this is how it starts, lightning strikes the heart
It goes off like a gun, brighter than the sun
Oh, we could be the stars, falling from the sky
Shining how we want, brighter than the sun, yeah
Oho, yeah, oho
Oh, this is how it starts, lightning strikes the heart
It goes off like a gun, brighter than the sun
Oh, we could be the stars, falling from the sky
Shining how we want, brighter than the sun, yeah
Brighter than the sun.

Regarding Antonin Dolohov's Curse, I saw the "possibly Axelo" part on the List of Spells page before it went all weird. I thought it would be beneficial to the page. As for the picture, it's from the DH: Part 1 videogame where they get attacked in the cafe. I paused a YouTube video at the precise moment, and used paint to crop the picture.

Gryffindor traits
Edit
Do you have a source link for the traits in question? That'd be the quickest way to clear this up. ProfessorTofty (talk) 18:03, December 30, 2012 (UTC)
- If it can't be sourced, then it doesn't exist, as far as we're concerned. As for the name "Bong," it's sort of on the edge, but I don't think it's really an unacceptable name, anymore than RobertATFM is. ProfessorTofty (talk) 18:07, December 30, 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, please do-- really, without a source, the editor that's been removing that information is entirely in the right-- we can't just put stuff there that's obviously questionable if we don't have anything that says that it is so. As for RobertATFM, yes, the questionable part is the ATFM, which is shorthand for "At the f(fill in the blank)ing moment." —The preceding unsigned comment was added by ProfessorTofty (talk • contribs).
- To get one thing straight, my username (which is rendered as "robert@fm" in message boards which allow that form — some don't because it looks like an email address) goes back to February 2002 and the "@fm" bit actually means "a supporter of Fastmail.FM", although I no longer support them as enthusiastically as I once did because they've come a long way downhill in the last 11 years; in fact, because of recent events (as of October 30 last), I've seriously thought about changing my username, if I can come up with something which I can endorse (a nick based on one of the The Casual Vacancy characters perhaps) and which isn't liable to cause me embarassment in ten years' time. Haven't either of you checked my profile page on this wiki? The explanation of my nick is there. — RobertATfm (talk) 18:34, December 30, 2012 (UTC)

I don't think it's really worth pursuing unless other objections are raised. ProfessorTofty (talk) 18:55, December 30, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, Lupin would interest me. His parents, where does the muggle ancestry come from and perhaps, with luck, which animal is his patronus. That would be great. Harry granger Talk contribs 00:13, December 31, 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, I also think it comes from his mother. But Lupin's patronus incorporal? Can you communicate with an incorporal patronus? Hmmm. Harry granger Talk contribs 00:19, December 31, 2012 (UTC)
- It was never mentioned that he communicated with his patronus. I only thought because he is in the Order of the Phoenix and they communicate with their patronuses. He would stand outside if he could not. But o. k., I think, it's the same thing for Hagrid, because I don't believe that he can produce a patronus with his broken/mended wand/umbrella.
