You're not necessarily wrong, though. That's what godparents are traditionally supposed to be, but for some people, they're just ceremonial roles. After all, Harry didn't raise Teddy after he was orphaned. The other user who asked the question just seemed to be speculating, so I wanted to be clear that JKR has never said who Albus and Lily's godparents were. Oread 20:48, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
