Hello! Talk pages are a useful way to discuss issues or concern regarding one of our many articles. However, many of these talk pages have existed for a very long time, and therefore many of the concerns present there have long since been resolved, and the users who raised the concerns may indeed no longer be active members on this site. When properly signed, talk page comments have a timestamp that indicates when they were posted. Unless you can tell by the current state of the page that the issue is still unresolved, it is generally considered poor Wikiquette (to adopt a turn of phrase) to respond to a discussion that is older than a couple months. Furthermore, talk pages are for formal, enlightened discussion of a current issue regarding an article. Idle comments and chit-chat are generally frowned upon: there are a number of fan-made forums for your perusal if you wish to discuss the Harry Potter series in a more casual manner. But thank you for your edits regardless. -- 1337star (Drop me a line!) 18:54, May 4, 2013 (UTC)
