Yeah i just wanna ask about the last three articles that need to be vertified. Harpy, Unidentified teacher, and Cod. I think u can fix the last two72.229.249.242 23:50, September 21, 2010 (UTC)
Would you like to join my new online group, called the Hogwartians? You might like it. We talk nonstop about Harry Potter. Here's a link if you want to join.
Source for the date of death? --JKoch(Owl Me!) 01:15, September 24, 2010 (UTC)
I'd take off the death date. We have no confirmation of when that happened. It is all guessing. The Yule Ball was on Xmas Day (Dec 25). --JKoch(Owl Me!) 01:26, September 24, 2010 (UTC)
Ok. I understand the logic. If the World Cup took place on a Monday and that was Aug. 22. Then the Saturday before is the 20th. --JKoch(Owl Me!) 01:36, September 24, 2010 (UTC)
Ok, cool, good to know, dates on here can be rather confusing, especially with Rowling's dating inconsistencies, lol. --BachLynn(Accio!) 01:39, September 24, 2010 (UTC)
Thnks for your help. If u want check out Poland,Boil Cure and maybe u could create the page Arthur Weasly's nephew.Donmax 03:58, September 24, 2010 (UTC)
Zaire needs to be redirected to Congo, can you look at lee jordan and wine, and why was my edit to seven deleted?72.229.249.242 00:46, September 25, 2010 (UTC)
There's no informations on these countries in the book Fantastic beasts. Only that Tebo lives in these 2 countries. As they also are real countries, I think we could put a link towards Wikipedia or a note that indicates the name of this country now (maybe it's better to watch another real location to know how it's managed here, the "norm"). If you click on the french interwiki link (a link in the left part of your screen), you could see how I put these infos on the french wikia about Harry Potter (I'm one the french admins). It's always a short page... -- Famini talk contribs 13:36, September 25, 2010 (UTC)
Here you have all links towards other wikis : List of Harry Potter wikis in other languages. I give you the links towards pages fr:Congo and fr:Zaïre. For the interwiki link, it's weird if you don't see it, I give you another link fr:Fichier:AideWikiHP-Lienslangues1b.jpg. Interwiki links are in the left part of the screen, maybe it's in the bottom if you have added some widgets. As I use them a lot, I put it as high as I could. If you participate to another HP wikia, be aware, rules are not always the same ;)
When you have time, could you check the page Fluffy here, there seems to be confusion between what happens in the book and what happens in the film. See you soon. -- Famini talk contribs 15:25, September 26, 2010 (UTC)
I think it's ok now for Congo and Zaire. Thank you for cheking Fluffy's page :) I'm not really good in english, I understand but it's hard for me to write. Now it seems to be ok in the text. Maybe we can add somes "behind the scenes" facts : Neville is present in the book and not in the film when the trio meets Fluffy / In the film the harp is still playing when the trio come but it stop and Fluffy wakes / In Lego Harry Potter (it seems to me that you had this game too), Quirrell breaks the harp and we should build again it after giving him a duck. I think it's all I have added to the french page. Do you find a source for this: "Fluffy was originally going to appear in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but was cut at the last minute." ? I didn't find so I have taken away... -- Famini talk contribs 16:39, September 26, 2010 (UTC)
But bacon and bacon sandwiches occur seperately (Harry cooked bacon for the Dursleys, and Ron likes bacon sandwiches). When do corned beef and corned beef sandwiches ever occur in a seperate context? 70.242.119.253 17:50, September 26, 2010 (UTC)
Maybe, I'll admit I just picked one of the two. Now, if it's mentioned somewhere that for example, they served corned beef in the Great Hall just as is, that could probably merit seperate mentions. 70.242.119.253 18:08, September 26, 2010 (UTC)
I've asked to my friend Nicolas, who takes care about films, and I will tell you if I obtain an answer. -- Famini talk contribs 21:19, September 26, 2010 (UTC)
Well, Crawford was not related to the HP universe in any case, since it was just the home of a fan. Not sure what they were thinking there. The others appear to be correct, just - as you say - formatted incorrectly. I'll take a look at them more closely, however. - Cavalier One(Wizarding Wireless Network) 21:50, September 26, 2010 (UTC)
I seem to recall something about Bath, but I can't remember exactly what book its in. COS sounds familiar, possibly when the Trio are discussing Tom Riddle's Diary before they know what it is? - Cavalier One(Wizarding Wireless Network)
In this case, it should be a conjectural title of what they called it in the book. Then in the BTS you can talk about what it might be in the real world. (Btw, in this context canon is spelled with one "n"). --JKoch(Owl Me!) 01:32, September 27, 2010 (UTC)
The Harry Potter Quiddditch World Cup video game manual has a very interesting passage under Introduction. It says "Quidditch can be described as a cross between the non-magical sports of soccer and basketball, with the speed and manuvering skills of ice hockey." Can u help me with that.72.229.249.242 01:40, September 27, 2010 (UTC)
It seems this is just a list with random flavours someone from MuggleNet created on a whim ("This is our complete list of the flavors of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans" - emphasis added). It has no basis in canon, and if it has, it does not state its source. -- Seth Cooperowl post! 15:32, September 27, 2010 (UTC)
So the mugglenet list isnt canon. Do u know how to find out? Plus hockey is mentioned on the Quiddtich world cup game manual.72.229.249.242 17:30, September 27, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks your very helpful. can u take a look at Teleportation spell,Cotswold and i keep trying to make a page for the spell that Dumbledore uses to stun more than one person when he escapes his office, but they keep redirecting it to the spell he used while dueling voldemort.72.229.249.242 17:41, September 27, 2010 (UTC)
Someone created "Harry Potter and the Treasure of the Founders." Please delete it, because it's nothing but fanon and nonsense that's clogging up the Wiki.

P.S. The Signature button doesn't seem to work for me. Please help.
I saw your comment on Hcoknhoj's talk page. While they may be known as "black beetles" formally, we still call them cockroaches over here in Britain. Its a common term amongst those who have to deal with them in their working life. in truth, I've never heard of them refered to as "black beetles" before today. - Cavalier One(Wizarding Wireless Network) 22:39, October 4, 2010 (UTC)
After a bit more investigation, it seems Wikipedia lists the term "black beetle" as a colloquism rather than a formal name, and also notes that the term can be applied to many species of beetle, not just the cockroach. Therefore, I would not definitely state a link to the cockroach in the "black beetle eyes" page. - Cavalier One(Wizarding Wireless Network) 06:42, October 5, 2010 (UTC)
Articles for Dragon killer and Vampire hunter might be worth starting, with mention in each to the wizards making the claims. - Nick O'Demus 19:45, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
Chapter 36, page 814. "Dumbledore draw back his wand as though brandishing a whip. A long thin flame flew from the tip; it wrapped itself around Voldemort, shield and all. For a moment, it seemed Dumbledore had won, but then the fiery rope became a serpent..." The emphasis is mine, but there. That is the source. --JKoch(Owl Me!) 14:17, October 9, 2010 (UTC)
How about a page named "Swimwear" were both "Swimming trunks" and "bathing costume" were subsections? I'm not so sure if "swimwear" is a british term, though... -- Seth Cooperowl post! 01:52, October 10, 2010 (UTC)
Your userpage looks great. By the way, do you like it to put a number of articles you made? Just a question :) --Station7 20:16, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
I dont understand. That penetration curse page i made is canon, why is it going to be deleted. Plus the link for custard tart and racoon came directly from the lexicon.72.229.249.242 21:14, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
Your really helpful. Green orbs got redirected to Avada Kedavra, which is wrong because its a different spell, whats up with that. I put a link on werewolf that hasn't been fixed, plus how often can u tell when ur edits are undone, and how often are legitimate edits deleted.72.229.249.242 21:56, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
Green orbs are in the PC version of Harry Potter and the Sorcerrers Stone, Poland i added a line that the two encountered mad trolls on the border and i wanted you to make trolls blue linked to the page and why redirect In essense divided? Also could yu flesh out tarot cards thanks:)
Nicely spotted. I removed the statement, as Wikipedia is not a reliable source (and because the Wikipedia paragraph in question is poorly spelt and formatted, suggesting fanon). -- Seth Cooperowl post! 18:16, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
It was I who redirected it into Killing Curse. The spell is basically a green curse that kills Harry if Quirrell manages to hit him, and that destroys objects upon collision: both the things Avada Kedavra does. -- Seth Cooperowl post! 18:32, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
OMFG What happened to this wiki? Its all messesd up, what is Seth and JKoch smoking, i cnat even read it, im really pissed and want it back to normal72.229.249.242 01:34, October 13, 2010 (UTC)

Why do you say that Danielle Crockford plays a Beauxbatons girl? Your given source: Yule Ball dancers update from SnitchSeeker.com says she dances with Draco but not that she is a Beauxbatons student. Do you have this from another source? Harry granger 19:25, October 14, 2010 (UTC)
Hey i keep making an edit to the Harry Potter page under Behind the Scenes. Its a very interesting tidbit of info, I have a link to back it up and it keeps getting deleted pleaes help.72.229.249.242 00:15, October 18, 2010 (UTC)
Hey Bachlynn i checked out voldemort page and noticed that on October 14, somebody changed Lord Voldemort's personality and traits section. I would really like it back because the stuff deleted was a description of voldemort from the mouth of jk rowling herself.72.229.249.242 23:50, October 18, 2010 (UTC)
Hey, just wondering if you would know what I could do about this: while most of the Departments of the MoM have their own pages, many of the offices don't (e.g. "Muggle-worthy Excuse Committee"). I was think they don't really need their own pages, since they're pretty well described on their department pages, but the office names should at least be searchable. If I wanted to do that, would I just make a page, then redirect it to the subsection of the Department page? Thanks in advance for your help. --Emmy (★) 00:05, October 19, 2010 (UTC)
Okay, cool. I'll do that. And thanks-- sorry about getting laid off, that's rough. I'm on medical leave from college, and "temporarily" on bed rest, which keeps getting extended. I actually got sick of reading 24/7, which I never expected to happen, haha, so things were getting pretty lame till I got addicted to this wiki. Emmy (★) 00:30, October 19, 2010 (UTC)
I actually redirected that article to the Hogwarts uniform, as the reference website 72.229.249.242 listed as part of the game's Hogwarts uniform. That was a probably not the best thing to do, but it seemed a little random to have anyone who used the search term "boots" be redirected to the video game page, as I assumed the video game wouldn't be the exclusive context for searching "boots." Sorry about that! --Emmy (★) 14:59, October 25, 2010 (UTC)
Intially, I'd redirected Blizzard cloak and Wand-waving gloves to the video game page, but then yesterday Seth Cooper edited or made pages for a bunch of the game items (Nimble Glove, Bastion Belt, maybe a couple others) so I reverted the redirect and just edited them. If it were up to me, I guess for the sake of consistency, I'd make sure all the individual items were mentioned on this wiki (because it's sort of strange to just have pages for only like 5 of them), but I'm not sure whether it would be better to either make one page for all the PS GBC video game item (and make all item names searchable terms), or give them all individual pages either by category (i.e. video game cloaks, gloves, boots, and belts) or just for the item itself. It might be better to give them all individual pages because I'm guessing one page for all the items unless we know more about them, as I'm guessing it would require some sort of explanation or reason for the items not to be on the main PS video game page. Are all those items only in the GBC version, and not the others...?
Haha, soo... all in all, I'm not sure either, but if we end up having individual pages for the all the items, let me know if I can help. --Emmy (★) 15:23, October 25, 2010 (UTC)
And now that I've figured out I can just Move an article, rather than create a new one and redirect, I probably can be actually helpful. Haha, my GOD I'm slow when it comes to some things... -- Emmy (★) 15:51, October 25, 2010 (UTC)
I'd agree with you, as BeanBoozled Jelly Beans aren't Bertie Bott's Beans, and not even part of the Harry Potter franchise. -- Seth Cooperowl post! 19:07, October 25, 2010 (UTC)
