On this wiki, everything is written from an in-universe perspective, as if it all happened. SO, we don't mention the books or movies in the main text. It's ok in the Behind the scenes, though. --JKoch(Owl Me!) 04:36, December 5, 2010 (UTC)
Firstly, this is a Fanon warning. If you continue, you will be blocked. Next, it is policy that you do not remove talk page posts, unless they are some form of vandalism or personal attack. Also, anyone can issue warnings. Only admins can take punitive measures, but warnings can be issued by all users, if they are done in good faith. I will talk to this user and remind them that they should take their complaints to an admin. Thank you --JKoch(Owl Me!) 05:40, December 11, 2010 (UTC)
- You edit to Sanguini was deemed fanon. I know that you reverted it and most likely understand what you did is not welcome on this wiki, but the warning was issued in good faith and as an administrator, I have to back it up. Thanks, --JKoch(Owl Me!) 06:23, December 11, 2010 (UTC)
- I hope you don't mind me jumping in. From what I've seen, you were given the warning for adding fanon to an article. While the edit was undone, the fact that it was added is considered an act of vandalism. The IP user was simply warning you that any subsequent fanon addition is grounds for a block by an admin. -- 07:56, December 11, 2010 (UTC)
