Thanks for the info. Jiskran 11:47, June 24, 2012 (UTC)

Lost you on the chat page again, but I would still be interested to know where you stand on the "books vs. films" debate. Which are better? All the best, Alex. Jiskran 12:41, June 24, 2012 (UTC)

I know the feeling. Alex Jiskran (talk) 13:22, June 29, 2012 (UTC)

I'm not all too sure you're still a contributor here, and hopefully you are. If so, I figured I couldn't help but see the message you posted on Grunny's talk page a while ago about infoboxes for your user page. I'd recommend just clicking the "Edit" button on my profile, then the green "Source" one, and then copying the infobox there (please don't cut, it took me a while to figure it out, thanks) and then paste it on here. Change the neccessary information to reflect yourself, and BINGO. Hunnie Bunn (talk) 23:57, September 14, 2012 (UTC)

Well, now, that's an even simpler matter. You just click at the start of your profile (or directly below the text) and then type in two wavy bracket things (like {{ ) and then "User"; a number of options should pop up. Type the first letter of whatever it is you want to say, and then you should be able to find it, if not type the second then third letters and so on. I've got you started with the Muggle-born tag, because I know that's the one you asked for. Hunnie Bunn (talk) 14:57, September 15, 2012 (UTC)

It wasn't a problem; I wasn't exactly sure of any of the information, so I put "unknown" for you to change as needed. By the way, I noticed that on one of your posts on my talk page, it was in a green box with one of those slider things... do you know how to make them? It looked sort of cool... Then again, apparently we're only supposed to use "four tildes or the signature button" for our signatures. Hunnie Bunn (talk) 17:00, September 15, 2012 (UTC)

The templates I have on my profile ("This user is a muggle-born and proud of it", "This user's favourite book is Deathly Hallows", etc.) are rather easy to make. Say you wanted to make the Muggle-born template. You'd type

Then you'd wait a couple seconds. Chances are, a list of options would pop up. You'd then change it to

{{User m

And another list of options would pop up. Finally, it'd show

Lily Potter fullcoloured This user is a Muggle-born.

Without the spaces, or

HermioneHBPHi-resPromo2 This user is a Muggle-born and proud of it!

Without the spaces. Click the one you want and it'll be added. By typing

You can play around with various templates. Hunnie Bunn (talk) 17:27, September 15, 2012 (UTC)

Editing policy

Please note that under our editing policy, no more than 15% of your edits may be your userpage. Within the past few hours or so, you have made dozens of edits to this page and since joining in June you have only edited one or two articles. Please begin editing articles or it is possible an admin may protect your userpage against editing. ProfessorTofty (talk) 19:05, September 15, 2012 (UTC)

Again, I would like to remind you of our user policy, as your edits continue to be either to your userpage or to user talk pages. Please begin editing our encyclopedia. ProfessorTofty (talk) 16:30, April 27, 2013 (UTC)

RE: Your message

I'm not sure what you mean by "using false info". Do you mean making sure the information someone adds to an article is accurate? If so, the surest way would be to check if the information has been referenced or if a source has been provided. - Nick O'Demus 05:51, April 25, 2013 (UTC)

People adding their own information not from any official canon is known as fanon, and is not allowed on this wiki. If you see someone adding something that is obviously fanon, then you can revert their edit (if you look at the page history, click the option for that edit that says "undo" ). If you're not sure whether an edit is fanon, then report it to an administrator, such as myself. Seth Cooper, ProfessorTofty, and Cubs Fan2007 are also all fairly active right now. If you check the Recent Changes or Wiki Activity pages, you can see which admins have been online recently. Of course, the best way to know if something is likely fanon, is simply to know as much as possible about Harry Potter. : ) - Nick O'Demus 15:25, April 25, 2013 (UTC)

  1. I'm a guy... so please no more "Mrs Hunnie Bunn Ma'am" or anything like that. Thanks.
  2. Order of Merlin, First Class is reserved only for those with three thousand or more edits. As you only have made 80 edits, you'd need nine hundred or so for even Third Class.
  3. Prefect badges are usually awarded for a specific edit or series of edits, rather than for no apparent reason.
  4. I had another user make the unique signature, but by now I've decided to stick with the plain old blue and black one. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 16:22, June 2, 2013 (UTC)
I wish I could, but as another user made it for me, I never really took the time to learn how to make one... in other words, I'm afraid I don't know. Perhaps Rainbow Shifter might help, it was she if I remember correctly who made the signature. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 16:38, June 2, 2013 (UTC)
You can find some information on how to create a custom signature here. - Nick O'Demus 17:16, June 3, 2013 (UTC)
Unfortunately I have no idea! I had to have help just to make this simple signature. Rainbow Shifter 21:34, June 8, 2013 (UTC)
