British spelling & terminology
The usage of British over U.S. is something you'll get used to if you spend some time here. The general line of thinking is: written and published in Britain, by a British author, and set in Britain with British characters. You'll see this a lot around the wiki with usage of things like "colour" instead of "color", "favourites" instead of "favorites", and "realise" instead of "realize". One of the biggest differences is the use of "Philosopher's Stone" instead of "Sorcerer's Stone", which was retitled for U.S. release, as mentioned in the opening paragraph of this wiki's article about the book. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. - Nick O'Demus 07:22, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
