Universal Studios has confirmed it! Harry Potter Park, an attraction which includes a Hogwarts castle, will be built at the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park. However, we still don't know where or when it will be built.
The jobs that will be created from this project (over 800 jobs just in the construction alone!) will be good for the Los Angeles economy. Currently the park generates $4.4 billion for the local economy.
Warner Bros. chairman Barry Meyer says he hopes the park will help to "translate the brilliant literature of J.K. Rowling" and that a goal of the attraction is to make it as authentic to the books as possible.
So, do you think this attraction will be a step into the world of Hogwarts, or just a commercialized version of a great book? Comment below and tell us what you think!
