I have been a fan of the Harry Potter series since just before Order of the Phoenix came out (the book that is). I had heard of this "Harry Potter" phenomenon but thought it some tenny-bopper thing. My then girl-friend talked me into seeing Philosopher's Stone with her. I enjoyed it but still thought of it as a kid's film. Then when Chamber of Secrets came out I went with my girl-friend (now my fiancee) to see that as well. I couldn't really follow it, as I couldn't remember much of the first movie and the Basilisk freaked me out (I'm very afraid of snakes). When COS came out on DVD, we decided to watch them again so I could understand what was going on. The second time around I really enjoyed both movies. Then my fiancee (now my wife) reminded me that the movies were based on books, which I had forgotten. I decided to read them and I've been hooked on the series ever since!

FavouritesEdit

Favourite Book: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It was the first book I read not knowing how it ended, since I had already seen the films when I read the first two.

Favourite Characters: Severus Snape, Albus Dumbledore, Arthur Weasley, Bill Weasley, Ginny Weasley and Voldemort.

Least Favourite Character: Hagrid
