I can answer why your edit was unhelpful, even though I may be a newbie to Wiki, I still write alot, and the basic problem with your edit was it seemed to be a matter of personal opinion rather than "fact" from the series. Nowhere does JK use the word "homoerotic" to describe Barty Crouch Jr's "relations" with Voldemort. Barty himself says that he will be "closer than a son" after he threatens to deliver Harry. It's a pity when fanfic seems to interfere with actual fact. Although Wikipedia may seem to be easily edited, it's really not the case; it's purpose is to be a constant streaming database, not a matter of personal opinion.

I have no problem with AU, or alternative lifestyles. It just doesn't belong on an active database that we who know the series try to be accurate. DarkSecrets11 19:36, September 5, 2009 (UTC)DarkSecrets11
