Born Yang Jui-An (楊瑞安 in Mandarin, pronounced Young Ray-Ahn), Rinnie Yang was born in Taipei, Taiwan on November 19th, 1992. She has a twin brother a minute older than she is. Rinnie is a huge Harry Potter and David Archuleta fan and currently attends Mercer Island High School on Mercer Island, Washington, USA, Class of 2011.
