Ashleyy is a Christian university student from North Carolina. She adds the extra y to her name for kicks but doesn't make it a habit in the real world, because that would be silly.
She has been reading about Harry and his world since 2000, but that doesn't make her any more or less a fan than you. She began reading them at age eleven because she was bored with everything else in her school's library. When Ashley's pious grandmother found out she was reading them, she promptly mailed her the entire Chronicles of Narnia, hoping to deter her granddaughter from Satanism. Fortunately, Ashley turned out alright, and believes in God with her whole heart, though she doesn't attribute this at all to her grandmother's early intervention.
Ashley spends most of her time in college coming up with reasons to not do homework. She enjoys spring weather and sweet tea and film musicals. Nearly everyone in her dorm knows her as "the girl who loves Harry Potter," thanks owed largely to her Hermione Halloween costume and the Dumbledore's Army poster above her bed; thankfully, this is a reputation she is generally okay with having.
