Quidditch is the most popular wizarding sport. It is similar in some ways to Muggle soccer, the main difference being that Quidditch is played on brooms in the air, while soccer is played on the ground.

BallsEdit

• Quaffle - the big, red, immobile leather ball used for scoring; equivalent to the one ball used in Muggle ball sports
• Bludgers - heavy iron balls bewitched to fly around the field and knock players off their brooms
• Golden Snitch or Snitch - small, golden, winged ball that flies around the pitch; game ends when Snitch is caught

PlayersEdit

• 3 Chasers - handle Quaffle and try to throw it through rival goalhoops
• 2 Beaters - ensure that the Bludgers do not injure team members and inflict the damage upon the opposing team
• 1 Keeper - defends goalhoops
• 1 Seeker - chases Snitch
