Urquart is the surname of a pure-blood wizarding family. They are related to the Muggle/half-blood McGonagalls and, by extention, to the wizarding Rosses.^[1]

Known family membersEdit

• Elphinstone Urquart (d. 1985), a senior officer at the Department of Magical Law Enforcement in the 1950s.
• Minerva McGonagall (b. 1935), celebrated Head of the Transfiguration department and Headmistress of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Briefly married to Elphinstone Urquart in the 1980s, despite never having taken the family name due to her feminist beliefs.
