Uno is a female Neapolitan Mastiff who played Rubeus Hagrid's dog, Fang, in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.[1] She was preceded in this role by Monkey.
Uno was adopted by her trainers. They suspect she was mistreated by a previous owner because she initially reacted with fear to loud noises and being approached suddenly.[1]
The American Humane Association awarded Uno a "Pawscar" for her appearance in the Half-Blood Prince.[1]
