Universal Brooms Ltd. was a broomstick manufacturing company. They released the Shooting Star in 1955, but their products lost popularity over time. Afterwards they incurred heavy losses. Eventually, the company went lower and lower on their charts, until the company went out of business altogether in 1978. Despite this, it is still remembered as the creator of the broom.
