"We're not allowed to talk about it, don't ask me anything"
—The agitated Obliviator discussing the events of the Battle of the Department of Mysteries in his interview[src]

This unidentified individual was a wizard who worked in the Ministry of Magic as an Obliviator. He gave an interview to the Daily Prophet in which he was questioned about the recent Battle of the Department of Mysteries, and was described as being very agitated and refused to give his name as he left the Ministry the night he gave the interview or give any details on the event. Because of his agitated nature, it is possible he had been harassed for answers by other reporters on the event previously and had to modify many memories beforehead. Despite this individual not being allowed to say anything, highly placed sources within the Ministry confirmed to the Prophet that the disturbance centred on the Hall of Prophecy.[1]
