The Unidentified Narragansett mother was a Native American witch who became one of the first students of Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 17th century. She was part of the Narragansett tribe. Along with her two daughters and two other Native American boys of the Wampanoag tribe, they were given wands made by Isolt Sayre and James Steward and instructed in the use of them and in return they shared their own magical knowledge.[1]
