This individual was a Native American witch who became one of the first students of Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 17th century. She was part of the Narragansett tribe.[1]
Biography[]
Along with her two daughters and two other Native American boys from the Wampanoag tribe, they were given wands made by Isolt Sayre and James Steward and instructed in the use of them and in return they shared their own magical knowledge.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- She is the first known adult student of a wizarding school, though she may only have learned how to use a wand and was already able to use magic before. It's unknown if she was Sorted into one of the Houses and stayed at Ilvermorny as long as younger students.
