A turtle is a reptile with an armoured shell. Some species are aquatic or marine.
History
A Ravenclaw student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry believed that she spotted a boy named Derek talking to one of these creatures and believed that she should keep an eye on him.[1]
Hermione Granger once worried that the tortoise she created using the Teapot to tortoise spell looked more like a turtle.[2]
Sea turtles can be found within the Black Lake.[3]
