Treats[1][2] is a small café located on one of Surbiton Station's platforms.
History
This café was where Harry Potter read the Daily Prophet issue on the Death Eaters' attack on the Millennium Bridge in July, 1996. Harry encountered a Muggle waitress, who questioned him about the Daily Prophet and him being one of the headlines.
Behind the scenes
- Unnamed in the original series in the film adaptations, this café is only named on the original script for the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7.
- In the film Harry meets Dumbledore on the other side of the station and they apparate directly from here to Budleigh Babberton, as opposed to the books where Dumbledore picks up Harry from the Dursley's.
- In the LEGO game Dumbledore is seen right outside this café, as Harry sat on the other side of the station.
