As Professor McGonagall taught her fourth year students in transfiguration class, Transforming Spells can and must be adapted in some manner in order to perform Cross-Species Switches. This was the subject of an essay they had to write for that night's homework.
Behind the scenesEdit
- It is currently unknown whether this refers to a specific set of transformation spells, or if it refers to any spell that might transform something. If the latter is the case, such spells as the Avifors Spell and the Snufflifors Spell might be considered Transforming Spells.
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (First mentioned)
