The Transfiguration Today Most Promising Newcomer award was an award given out by Transfiguration Today, a scholarly journal on Transfiguration-related developments in magic. By her graduation in 1954, Minerva McGonagall was a recipent of this award for her impressive Transfiguration record at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.[1]
