Voldemort used an unidentified spell to penetrate the magical defences on Hogwarts Castle in 1998. The spell makes the tip of the wand glow tanslucent blue, and it shoots a beam of blue light that penetrates the barrier. When the barrier is penetrated it sends a powerful gust of wind or a seismic pulse strong enough to make someone loose their footing. Another noticeable factor is that the barrier shines brightly after penetrating it. After the barrier is broken it starts to deteriorate and burn away such as if you were to set fire to a piece of paper.

Behind the Scenes
- This spell may be a variation of Finite Incantatem.
- This spell was only explicitly used in the movie version of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Also in the film, when Voldemort uses the spell, the tremendous amount of power used causes the Elder Wand to crack a little.
