The title of this article is conjectural. Although it is based on canonical information, the actual name is a conjecture and may be supplanted at any time by additional information released from canonical sources. If this occurs, please move this page to the appropriate title.
This letter was written by Tom Riddle to Armando Dippet, likely soon after 13 June 1943, after the Serpent of Slytherin was released by Riddle and Dippet planned on closing Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
It's likely that one of the contents included Riddle not wanting to return to the orphanage, but there are no other contents known.
Behind the scenes
- This letter is not seen in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets as Riddle and Dippet didn't speak to each other and the Headmaster's office was never seen in the flashback.
