Tolga Safer portrayed Igor Karkaroff's aide in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. In December of 2003 he auditioned for the part of Viktor Krum, but was not cast after several auditions, because the studio wanted a look different than described in the book. However, director Mike Newell enjoyed his acting so much that the role of Karkaroff's Aide was created specifically for him.^[1]
