Toast is bread that has been toasted. Toast is most commonly used to cook in a toaster. Harry Potter and the Dursleys had toast for breakfast while staying at the hotel where they were trying to hide from the mysterious letters that were addressed to Harry in 1991. Toast is also a known flavour of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, and was served at breakfast time at Hogwarts. It is also served at the Weasleys', and on one occasion when Amos Diggory's head is in the fire speaking to Mr. Weasley, Mrs. Weasley gives him a slice of buttered toast.
